Hi! I won't be writing much. In fact, this may be the only time I write, as I am using dial-up! and I leave for Italy on Tuesday. Yeah, that's right, Italy! I was there this summer, studying int'l law and then decided that law school is the worst thing anybody could wish upon themselves, much less pay for, and that I hated it and the life I would lead as an attorney. So, I up and quit and I'm moving back to Italy to be a nanny- but I can only stay for 3 months- I don't have a work visa yet. Then maybe I'll come back and figure out what to do- probably back to regular old grad school where people aren't f-ing crazy, competitive psychopaths like 99% of those I encountered at law school.
Now, I know some people will say I should have hung in there and done something valiant like singlehandedly changed the legal profession with my coolness, ha ha, but those who know me best saw that I was unhappy and uncommitted to it, so why draw it out, really. New career path! Mid-life crisis at 25, but doin' alright!
I would love to be able to be more active on SG, but I can't very well access a "porn" site from the household I nanny for, and I doubt that I'll have much internet time outside of the home. But I'm sure London (the girl, not the place) and others will keep ya posted, and me posted about all of you! I will also check my old SG email acct (those of you I corresponded with before know the address). Ti amo! Ciao for now!!! Off to chase me booty in Italy
