people misconstrue my seriousness for depression

fall has started
and yet i feel like I'm rising
a million miles above who I am and who I have ever been,
people are taking notice
"what's your secret?"
"what's your secret?"
work.
I have worked to be
who i am finally coming,
there is so much beauty in your world,
so much beauty and potential lies
dormant
in all of us
last night I saw a giant caterpillar in a cage
and it felt like a mirror
i wont be held down by the walls of time
in two months the cocoon will hatch
and I will fly far, far away from here.

just beautiful.
