I decided to type up some random old poems... from my nineteenth and twentieth years.
I don't have the strength to write the happier things, and there were plenty. That was the best year I will ever have. Engaged. Love at first sight. Storybook. 20 brought sickness, crime, loss, blizzards and death.

20 also brought me Arlo, so i guess I can't complain too much. We were both hung up on our pasts though. We still have that in common I guess, nearly 3 years later we can't seem to say good bye to them can we dear? I love you Karakel. And Jillian? I miss you so much. When will the clouds break? My best friend, my inspiration, my teacher. When do I get my friend back?
It's Raining so hard outside that it sounds like a car wash... someday I will get to sleep... let it be today, let it be soon.
Make the Cut.
The thing about poetry is
It's like bleeding out poison,
It can work.
It can get the toxins out of your system
All the negativity, and hate, and pain
Flowing out like the blackest blood
Pouring out like crimson rain.
But
You can also bleed to death.
I'll be ok, babe,
I just need time to think.
Tomorrow's another day,
Tonights another drink.
I don't know what else tos ay,
I'm all out of rhymes,
I'll be ok,
Just give me some time.
I love you Jilly Bean,
forever yours,
Sweet Pea.
Ma'am we found something you should see
I'm a mistake.
When mommy went to get her tubes tied
They found me already growing inside.
I'm a mistake.
They found me deformed, sick, and half blind...
They did their best to make me right.
They put a knife to my skull
an eight inch wound,
a dividing line.
A scar that time can't erase...
They put a patch over my good eye and
Sent me blind and stumbling
to Eddy's house, across the street.
The scar still remains.
And I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
