yes it's that time again
as some of you know or have noticed I've been dealing with a lot of drama and stress in my personal life and had to deal with some family drama's. I've been trying my best not to let it get to me and I'm actually using it to fuel my creative juices and has made me more determined to shoot more.
Also I got a new job! I start my training next week.
now onto the SG stuff
The set I shot of @nanci Paris, Je'taime goes live in 2 weeks and 2 days
I had so much fun shooting this set and had such a lovely time chatting away and getting to know this cutie whilst shooting the set. So proud of this set.
My set Creature Comforts, which was shot by the lovely and talented @casca , goes live in 3 weeks
I absolutely adore this set! I think it's my best ever set and I just want to say a huge thank you to my wonderful friend Casca, if it wasn't for this tiny delightful lady I never would have joined SG, she always has time for me and my mini melt downs, panic attacks and moments of crippling self doubt, not only is she a joy to work with, she's a lovely friend and she's very talented. Also fun fact about this set is that throughout the entire shoot casca kept telling me off for dancing and singing along to stevie nicks too much.
Also my experimental self shot set Didn't We Meet actually got accepted and will be going live in 4 months and 1 week .
I did this set as my own little experiment and based it and named it after Alice Coopers song Didn't We Meet and in a way this is my little weird homage to him in a way. I almost never submitted this set as I got quite a few messages telling me I shouldn't, how it didn't look SG and I'd be lucky if it got accepted let alone bought, but the truth is I never made this set to get bought, I made this set to show a different side to me and to have some fun doing an experiment and something different, I know this set will never get bought but that doesn't make me any less proud of it or happy with it.
In other new I'm going to be doing another self shot set next week and this one is not going to be experiment but we all know how I love a good themed set so be prepared.
Also if you guys have any suggestions for set themes feel free to let me know, plus you never know I might do it.
I'm taking bookings for set shoots and have space for shoots between now and Christmas, also I'm going to be doing a baby cake smash photoshoot and a mother and son shoot for my cousin next month, I sense me and my camera may end up covered in cake and that I'm going to be used as a babies chew toy again
