TGIF - well right up till the meeting at 1:15 where I get to have the life sucked out of me by the gov't folks that will be there. They are good at that. Nothing like a meeting that does nothing more than waste ones time 100% or more.
Its bad enough that this place is life draining enough without adding the meetings to it. This is the only place I have ever worked where the sole purpose of a meeting is to waste precious time that could be spent actually doing something. If we did that in the corporate world nothing would ever get done.
But such is life, that is what happens when you wind up working for the gov't, and trying to convince them that there is a better way to do things doesn't help much at all.
