Wow, does it suck big time, I feel like my life has to be put on hold, all because of the BRAC, which to those that don't have an affiliation to the military in the US is a Base Closing and Realignment, the base I work at has unfortunately been chosen for a closing, and we have gotten some what of a timeline as to when that will happen and its appearing to be at least 3 - 5 yrs. And that sucks because we were really looking forward to buying a house for ourselves sooner than later and all.
On the upside, found out yesterday that the company I work for is on the team for a contract that is 5 yrs long with one 5 yr option, which means that more or less I have a job for the next 10 yrs, so that is good. If I could just get into enjoying my job all would be great.
