You know sometimes things just suck in a big way. I was going to change to a BS program in Game Art and Design, but all things are conspiring against that, primarily money, being that it costs 73K for the degree and I can only rack up about 46K in student loans, so that puts me about 27K short, 27K I don't have, not that I am broke or don't make a good living, but damn, I gotta have money left over and all.
But I have found another solution, one that will allow me to move in the direction I want and keep from piling up to much in student loan debt as well, some specialization courses in 3D animation and modeling offered by the Academy of Art University. All the courses revolve around Maya, which is the high end 3D program I already have and that I want to learn, so at least I have a solution to the problem at hand.
Funny thing happened, my wonderful wife, she actually did something that I find really funny, picked a fight about money, and not the lack of money, being that we have quite a bit of it, but she did it anyway, and hell we would have lots more if I hadn't just dropped about 4K to pay off our debt and 500 to buy her a nice electric fireplace she wanted, but its just funny as hell to me because aren't those fights supposed to go the other way because you don't have money.
