This is it, kids. After today, no more internet in the room until....February? My roomate moves out today, and he takes the wireless router and DSL modem with him. I'll be on sporadically over the next three months (5 minute walk to a hot spot), then I'm outta here. I'll drop in a few times a week, though. Love to you all.

Well, August is over. September is here. Here I sit, staring down the barrel of three more months. Three months and it's Quizno's, Olive Garden, fresh ink, driving my Jeep, seeing people that I DON'T work with, and generally convincing myself that this year, with the exception of a few very key things, didn't happen.

I'm not done yet...

I wish I were, but I still have almost four months to go. The good news is that I get a week of (sorta) next month to go to some seminar. Wahoo. But, the out-processing ball is rolling, so it won't be long now.

BTW, I passed my fitness test. Not much of a test, really, but hey, I passed.

Wow, what a weekend. Went for a ride yesterday, and had a blast. Great time. Yesterday afternoon and today are to be dedicated to chores. Yippee.

I saw more big-time, nationwide shows in one year in New Mexico than a lifetime in Alaska.

But there's a lot of local talent, a lot of good acts come up here. Just not the latest and greatest (example: Styx). If you're into culture, this isn't the best place.
