No matter how fucked my week has been, I always feel better by this time on Saturday. I know why, and I'm not telling.

I no longer want to be a part of the unit I'm assigned to. My Production Super took advantage of my ignorance and my crew-chief's respect for authority and sent a jet up that should have been grounded. Now I feel like an ass. I let my crew chief down, that pilot down, my self down, and the Fighter Squadron that flies our jets down....

Wahoo, it's new hockey-stick-and-wheels day. I'm diggin on new hockey-stick-and-wheels day, almost as much as new bicycle-helmet-and-gloves day. I love getting stuff in the mail.

Apathetic about work this week. I just can't seem to motivate myself to get anything done in the 6 to 8 hours I'm at work before the job really starts. At least next week we'll be playing war games, that always makes the week fly by. And no, I'm not being sarcastic.

Today was a complete waste of time. I should've stayed in bed.

Well, I'm feeling a little better. The sneezing and runny nose are all but gone. I've got a little congestion left and a slight cough. Other than that, things are good. The sun is out, it's warm, not hot. The humidity is down. It's probably the last beautiful day until September.
