Winter storm of the century, I scoff at thee...

So, I'm driving across this great nation of ours enroute to California to visit a friend before I head to Alaska, and Mother Nature decides to play with me, trying to kep me of the road. Too bad, M.N., I gotta keep pressing. I have explicit orders to be careful, and that's what I'll be. I have commitments to keep after all.

I'm going now. It seems I can't do this and other things at the same time. I'll try and keep in touch while I'm on the road. If there's an internet connection in the hotel I bed down in, I'll pop in. See ya soon.

Well, maybe scoff was too harsh a word. I giggled for a bit and when I got to Nebraska I realized that Mom wasn't kidding. So, I'm in a hotel for the evening, safe and sound thank you very much, and now must call all my loved ones and let them know that I'm still very much breathing.
