You know how people say that you need to have goals? I'm not really one for goals. Hell, I've only scored about three goals playing soccer in the 20 off and on years that I've been playing. I thought about goals before I got here, and came up with a few that I wanted to achieve in the year I was in Korea. And they are:
Save $5000 for closing costs on a VA loan for a house...done
Study for and make Master Sergeant, my next stripe...yep, did that, too
Get my Community College of the Air Force Associates degree (yes, there is such an institution, but no campus)...yeah, hooked that one up.
All of the things I wanted to accomplish here have been done. On top of those things, I've accomplished something I would have never dreamed of doing here. But I'm not telling. Those that know, yeah, I'm deliriously happy. My friends that don't know...well, I'm deliriously happy.
Now, if I could just get the fuck out of this place. This assignment has officially "jumped the shark".

The only picture I took of my trip, was a beautiful rainbow that a storm left behind in Dickson TN. I will share the photo when I have a chance to put it on my computer.
Lots of spending going on. I am supporting the local economy.
