Yeah, a promotion. Hasn't really sunk in yet, probably because work is exactly the same. Which is to say, shitty.

I am in fact going back to my old job in July. But that's OK, because I'm not going back to the old office. I'll be assigned to the office I'm in, but work the same shitty job that I did for the first five months (give or take) that I was here. I hate working for a guy that has no clue.

Today was interesting, we had a "powerful thunderstorm" roll in about the time we were trying to launch. So we brought all the jets back, got ready to put them to bed, and the sky cleared right up. Then all the rain evaporated and it became a sauna. Fuck humidity. If you like it, I'll send you some.

Then, at about 1 pm or so, I get tagged for a piss test. Another bennie to working for the federal gov't. I get to go to the hospital and let some guy watch me pee in a cup. Drugs are bad, mmkay.....

Really though, my job isn't that crummy. I just like to bitch. Besides, Christmas is right around the corner and I hear I'm getting something REALLY cool.
