It started out like any other day. Which is to say it started out completely fucked.
Actually, that's not true. Most of the day was fine. It was at the 9 hour mark tht I heard through the grapevine that I'd be going back to my old job. Now, for those of you who don't know, my old job is a lot like my current job. The difference being that my old job is the worst job in flightline aircraft maintenance. In my old job, if your doing your job well, nobody notices. If you fuck up, just a bit, the whole world falls apart and they're on you like jackals on a crippled ibex. Why am I going back to the old job??? Why, for no good reason, that's why. And the fucked p thing is that I'm damn good at the job I'm doing, and if they try to replace me last minute, things will probably go right down the shitter. This place is run by people who wouldn't know how to run a place like this if God herself came down from heaven and chiseled instructions on stone tablets.
