Who here in the room doesn't know why I'm in Korea? OK, here's a quick rundown. I was stationed in Vriginia prior to being here and for several reasons which I'll not go into presently, I hated being there and needed to get the hell out. So....I volunteered to come to Korea, where you can spend a year and go to assignment of your choosing, as long as there's a position open for you when you're supposed to leave Korea. So, I volunteered, got my follow-on to Alaska (wahoo), and here we are. And everything is going as planned except for one little thing. My follow-on is apparantly in jeopardy. I got an e-mail from a guy at Pacific Air Forces yesterday stating that it looks like I might lose my follow-on and asking if I'd like to voluteer to go to Kadena (which is on Okinawa). I declined. I've been there, done that and have no desire to do that again. So I guess I'm kinda in limbo as to where I'm going when I leave here. I know, I know, at least I'm not going to Iraq to fight in this stupid-ass drawn out war (?) we're in, but it still chaps my ass, so there.
