In other news, I have to laugh at all the Californians getting their shorts in a knot (sorry Ava) about Arnie being elected Guvnahhhhh. I mean really, all politicians work for lobbyists and political action groups. If it isn't one it's another. And people insist on believing everything good the press says about their favorite candidate and dismiss out-of-hand everything good said about the guy they hate, when they're ALL asshole politicians and can't be trusted. BUt by all means, feel free to bitch, especially if you're one of the 40% or so of registered voters in California that DIDN'T vote. Hell, I'm registered to vote in Alaska so my vote definitely doesn't count in national elections, but I vote anyway just so I'm justified in my bitching if the candidate I voted for didn't win and the other person is fucking things up.

I haven't re-registered to vote since I moved and I knew it wouldn't make one damn bit of a difference who I voted for. Still, I feel a little guilty, but oh well.
You're right though. Our new Govenor is just the political group's lackey. "Sir, I advise you to say this. I advise you to do this.." Blah blah blah.
