I got the greatest news that I've had in a long time. Like days. As you all probably don't know, I leave for Korea for a year in December. Part of the bennies of taking an assignment to Korea is that one gets what they call a base of preference. Meaning that if you wat to go there, and they have a job for you, you're gonna go. Well, I've wanted to get back to Alaska since I left and I just found out tonight that I got my BOP to Elmendorf, just north of beautiful Anchorage, AK. And by just north I mean in town but with a different zip code. Man this day was soooooo shitty up until that point, too. 12 hours at work, nothing going right, hotter and muggier than Satan's crotch; just miserable. It's amazing how good, no great news can completely turn your day around. the only way to make this day better would be for blasfemme to tell me I could be her permanent photographer. All you SG members in Alaska look for me in January, 2005. I'm coming home.

i wanna come visit you in alaska!!! i've never been. that would be amazing. i had friends that lived there and an ex who did fishing season there. he showed me incredible pics.
