This morning I got to see a friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Since I saw her last, she has gotten her lab results back. Stage 1, no signs of spreading. She goes under the knife a week from this coming Tuesday to remove the tiny little bastard.
Good news when dealing with the C word. She is in much better spirits than the last time I saw her. It was so nice to see her smile and laugh. My beagle, Spencer was especially excited to see her this morning. He greeted her at the door, making all kinds of noise while dancing around. It brought a tear to both of our eyes.
