Actually, there was a man who was supposed to be electrocuted (when they first began executing people that way) and the chair malfunctioned. He was zapped and complained that his mouth tasted like peanut butter. They electrocuted him again when they got a new chair a few months later. There was also a guy recently who they shocked over and over and over and he just wouldn't die. I couldn't find any news stories, though. Which is wierd, because I remember hearing all about it all over the place when it happened.
