Still no word on when the bridge builders are moving out of the apartment i found.
Its really nice, i couldn't find a place in my income even livable to buy (see earlier rant). Its a furnished 2 bedroom, second floor with all hardwood floors. I also have access to the basement where there is a work area for my tools, equipment and motorcycle. And since i am friends with the landlord, ther is no lease or security depost, she also says she'll do my laundry! biggrin

Otherwise i have been rather bored, i went out last night, it was boring but i wasn't really in the mood anyways.

The snow is gone again, it cause me to slide into a coworkers car on monday. OOPS, she wasn't mad because there was 3 inches of ice in the parking lot and imediatly knew what happened. My truck is such a tank, i hit her back bumper then slid her trailblazer into a wall, scratching the front up a bit and knocking the back out of alignment. No damage to mine, gotta love that. Like i would care anyways.

I sure hope i can find a little truck to drive to the SG campout. Mine is sooo hard on gas and i am sure my location is going to prevent me from hitching a ride. So if anyone is between here and there i can give a ride. I will most likely be traveling route 6. I could take 80 and go that way if someone needed. I just kinda prefer the two lane roads, especially if i am taking the ride i have now. If i still have a truck, which is most likely, i could also haul gear.

I am also trying to put a teepee together, i'm trying for a 14-16 foot diameter. They are easy to make with poly tarps but i would prefer canvas because the sparks don't burn them. It is looking like it will most likely be a combination, canvas at the top half and poly tarp at the bottom since fire retardant canvas is expencive. The pole will probably be 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe, so it can be broken down easier. Not an issue around here but it seems cutting trees for poles will be frowned upon at the campsite. I also had a conversation with an engineering buddy about making it a bit different than traditional, using a plywood coupling at the top to set the poles in. It should also act as a rain fly, saving me those issues.

Damn i need to learn to type

A landlord that does your laundry? Holy shit!

Camping sounds like it would be good times with you.
