So I get bored today and decide to be REALLY nice to this customer about her support request. Weird log entries in here apache logs...somebody's getting sent data equal to 10 times the size of the file being requested. Browser in question: "Mozilla/3.01"
So I install Netscape 3.04gold (oldest I could find) on my SGI (the linux 1.2 binaries didn't behave on any of my linux boxes).
Sure enough, nutscrape 3.0 is really really funky and seems to get sent enormous amounts of data. Weird!
And that's why I'm sitting here posting a journal comment in netscape 3.04 (gold, mind you) on my Irix box. Ahh...nostalgia. This box is 1 line high! This is probably going to come out looking like utter crap, but do I care? NO! Why, you ask? Because this will show up with the ueber-geeky agent string of "Mozilla/3.04Gold (X11; U; IRIX64 6.5 IP28)"!
*sigh* I'm lame.
