Dude, I'm 36 with a wife, two kids, house, job, etc. My body tells me I'm an adult -- or at least not young any longer -- but I don't believe I will ever officially enter adulthood.
Those people who take life seriously are adults. I do what I want, when I want and enjoy the hell out of life. I go to more concerts, drink more alcohol and smoke more cigarettes than I did when I was a kid. While not the most responsible things to do at this age, I don't see why I shouldn't do them now because society deems me too old. Hell, when I am too old I won't be able to do them so why not do them now.
