in 1945, Salvador Dali and Disney began collaborating on a project that would have been the surrealist's only animated film. With only 18 seconds finished by the original artists, the short was completed in 2003 from storyboards.

There was an amazing Dali-in-film exhibit at MoMA the first time I ever went, a couple of years ago before I moved here. I always loved the dream sequence in Vertigo that he created.
