You know the funny thing is that I feel most comfertable writing in english. And all the writing courses here are of course in swedish. I grew up with both english and swedish at home - and I've always found english to be easier to express yourself more "poetically" with than swedish. Everything sounds like a factsheet when you're writing in swedish. The words are very.. cold.
I think you're right, I just have to sit down and do whatever art comes to mind and not really care about a "final result"- I guess the important thing is the process in making it.
