Wow what a fab weekend I am utterly shattered but it was worth it.
I was over coming a cold last week - sore throat and feeling drowsy/shitty. Not good when I knew on the saturday night the band had a big gig at a private paid function where I was not only playing guitar but also backing vocals - ARGH!!...
However on the night, it all pulled together and sounded f-ing awesome - and it was SO nice to see their reaction to the set - singing along, jumping and moshing around, and having loads of fun. Makes it so so enjoyable for us on stage seeing that kind of reaction hehe.. Also nice to see a great reaction to our originals as well, and we managed to flog some cds - hoorah!
And it looks like we might be doing it again next year, and loads of interest for bookings/venues we can approach. fab fab fab.
Thing is after the set, the band had a few drinks danced to the rock/80s dj set for a few hours, and the music didnt stop ALL night so I didnt get any shuteye at all!
Had to load the van, get back to Wales, unload, rested up on the sofa watching star wars, and now i am ready for bed lol...
photos/videos/ etc to follow. Cant wait to work on the album these next few months - gonna be loads of fun.
And im moving on Thursday this week - MANIC OR WHAT!
