Woo Hoo. First Gig Success!

I was really nervous at first, but then after sound check i felt more relaxed, some friends turned up too which was reassuring. I was so proud as there was hardly any mistakes, i didnt fuck up once! I felt like i was playing a little fast at time (the nerves) but i settled after the first song or two. Then i started to enjoy it! And was buzzy! All of a sudden it was over and i needed to get off stage.. and get a drink! Woohoo!
We got good feedback, the other bands (the screamin eagles and architects of victory), were chuffed with the night and want to play with us again - good news eh!! I was please that people were kinda impressed with me, as i like to stick two fingers up to the 'girls cant play metal/guitar' bollocks. Great night all round!!

Anyway, after great performances from the other bands, we packed out took all the shit home and went out to celebrate (with my 7 i had earnt woo!). Home by around 2am as we were trashed!... Cant wait to do it all over again.

Me and giles are writing riffs and coming up with song ideas, and its all very interesting & exciting. I cant believe in a few weeks ill b back at uni - where has the summer gone??
