so last may my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme stage 4. it's a form of brain cancer and there is no cure for it. since then he's had brain surgery twice to remove tumors on his brain. he's also gone through radiation, a clinical trial chemo, and since the 2nd operation he has started a new chemo.
yesterday was his first mri since starting the chemo and i'm happy to say that there has been NO re-growth!!!!!! hopefully this chemo will work for a long time before he has to try something new.
and if anyone who reads this lives in the columbus area and you know someone just recently diagnosed with cancer, i highly recommend the osu hospital. the doctors, nurses and staff are very caring and knowledgeable.
