Just in case anyone wondered... the equivalent of 12 drinks.. in two hours.. on an empty stomach... is not always the best idea ever. Oh well.. I had a good time, and there will be photodocumentation as soon as my friends get em online.

I needed it... this week is finals week. Can't wait til this is all done. Outer Banks, NC on Saturday!!!

Have a great time on your trip! I know you need it! How long are you going to be gone for? Hope finals are going well...I'm procrastinating as usual biggrin
gamma:
Excellent! I'm so glad for you! It's definitely time to put the schoolwork to rest and enjoy yourself. I won't be fully completed until the second to the last week in May ... UGG!

Well.. my uncle's surgery went well. They got 98% of the tumor. Unfortunately they determined that it was cancerous, so now they'll be starting radiation and chemotherapy to clear up the rest.

I have two papers (one that is just a major revision) and one final exam left, and then I am done for the semester.

Hoping I'll be back to feeling like me soon.
gamma:
Ugg...I have 2 15-20 page papers and a smaller paper on Irish poetry due all around the same time. I also have to get my proposal signed and submitted for my honors thesis before the end of this semester. I envy you right about now biggrin

Well the 3 presentations didn't go too bad today. Just a really long day for me.

Found out tonight that my uncle is in the hospital (ICU), he was experiencing a horrible headache and tunnel vision. Turns out he has a mass on his brain, possibly a brain tumor that was pushing on his optic nerve.

Honestly, I don't think I can deal with anymore...

In London? When is she auditioning suitable males? biggrin

Nothing worse than a poorly family; being ill yourself is ok (relatively speaking) but it's horrible when it's the ones around you... frown
gamma:
I'm still around...just been super busy with the end of the semester crap. My semester isn't done until 5/25 and then summer classes start on 6/5 so not much of a summer for me frown

Any idea why he went gray? You will HAVE to bring me up to speed on the whole thing smile

3 presentations tomorrow, plus a tutoring party that hasn't really been organized yet.

One paper, one tutoring project due this week.

Two papers, big webquest project due next week along with one final exam.

I'll get through it... somehow.

Well.. Aunt Denise is home from the psych ward. I'm not sure if she's ready to be home yet or not.. but she is. I keep talking to her daughter, my cousin, on a daily basis: trying to keep strong for her and push myself aside. That's what must be done for family sometimes though.

I've got a bunch of schoolwork due.. and it'll get...

I apologize that its been a bit since I've updated. I've got a lot going on right now in my life. School is nearing the end for the semester so of course there's MUCH work to be done which I haven't yet started or even considered. Personal issues from my last post still relevant although not taking much priority lately.

Introduce: Jenny's extended family. Grandma's...

Omg hun you really HAVE been overwhelmed! I'm sorry I haven't been on much lately...just trying to get my independent study done which is sucking the life out of me (you know how that is though). Not really doing much else except trying to convince myself not to procrastinate. How are things with you, the girl, and the man?

I'm not in a particularly bad mood.. I've just been listening to a lot of Nine Inch Nails lately (their older stuff) and I happen to believe many of their lyrics are amazing. He puts into words so clearly what I feel and can't eloquently express.

One of my favorite songs from the Downward Spiral album (I actually drive around screaming this song, lol):

"I...

I had a pleasant Easter weekend. Friday night Crissy and I went to dinner then to see V for Vendetta on IMAX. As I've previously stated, everyone MUST go see this movie. I honestly think everyone would find something to enjoy in it. Decent action if you're into that, very nicely shot if you're into the filmic merit, excellent plot/storyline. It's based on a graphic...
