I`m impressed that it only took 6 hours to write. I hear you about your points, fair enough.

I did mean it about sending it to a writing competition. That is the sort of story that wins because its hard hitting and the subject is an important one.

I write myself, though different stuff, and I`m working on a novel that is going about 2 miles an hour, but it is going. Its all fantasy based stuff (swords and sorcery).

So where can I read other stories of yours?

I think we all have passive observation skill, and if you are lucky you have active brain functions on passive observation.

What I mean is this:

You need to buy cat food. You are at the shop but for some reason you don`t buy any. When you get home there is plenty of cat food.

So your brain half noticed someone had bought some and made you forget to get some at the shop, all without your knowledge. This is a bit of a weak example but it seems to happen to me all the time.
