wee! i'm at jon's (MogMagus) place. yesterday we watched the extended edition of lord of the rings: return of the king. very awesome! the movie was awesome even without all that stuff, but i mean it's even better with it. and wow, the mouth of sauron is freaky. i mean, he is just the stuff nightmares are made of *shudders*. but i'm very happy with the extended edition; there was a lot of stuff that was left out of the theatrical version that i'd wanted to see, and wee! here it is

i also watched jon play more of fatal frame. we're FINALLY on the third night now. this game is just... creepy. but jon won't play it for extended periods of time (and won't play without like fifty million lights on), so i'm almost debating restarting the game and just getting through it myself... nah, nah i won't. i'd want to play the game in the dark and i'd never be able to do it alone. i'd need someone with me, because jeez, that game would scare the crap outta me if i were alone. but dangit, when we play through the game again (because we're completists and want to unlock everything), it's soooo MY turn to play.

jon got me ninja gaiden for xmas!! woohoo!! i finally have the game!! yay!! i'm very happy. it's just such an awesome game. though, now i feel it is my duty to link to the infamous penny arcade comic. this game is really damn hard. but i love the fighting style. and now that i've had more than five minutes to play it and know that you can do things like a hard attack and throw shurikens and block, wee! i'm actually managing to not die all the time. it's nice. lol
