after 5 lovely nights off, I have to go back to work tonight. My hospital remains closed after Hurricane Ike, so i'm a fucking refugee at another hospital here in Houston. I don't get to be the charge nurse, so i'm working my ass off.

Yesterday Robert and I helped Hunter with his 3rd grade fractions pizza project thingy........... I think I deserve an A++++++. We even saw the school librarian while shopping at Michael's for materials for the project. I tried to picture her in leather, but just couldn't...........

where is Spring, TX? i was down in Beaumont, Galveston and Port Arthur a few weeks ago doing something on all the hurricane damage. it was crazy. and so, so sad.
