i hate being so poor!
we just got paid yesterday, but after paying our last payment on our tuition this semester its all gone. i cant even afford to buy a sack, which i desperately need...or kitty litter for my cat. poor mamas.
but, i have air in my lungs and my heart is pumping blood, so who am i to complain? life is good other than that. abby is working at starbucks now, so we've got a steady check coming in every two weeks not like when she was serving at that god-awful italian restaurant. furthermore, my boss confided that im next inline for a promotion. alot more work and responsibility but i plan to stay with starbucks for a good long time, until i graduate so moving up in the company is important for me. i work the same hours as the other shift-managers, and i'd like to get paid more for sure. who knows when the next opening will be. there are three stores in this town. one of them, my girlfriend works at so i cant be a shift there. we shall just see.
