So, I climbed a mountain!! I climbed a fucking mountain! I can't believe it, it was such a thrill being up at the top, very surreal! the views were spectacular and the best part (other than the "high") was the beer at the restaurant at the top, haha. I went with an outdoor club, with my two gf's (cuz I would never do an overnight trip by myself with a bunch of strangers!) and the group of people that went were so much fun! Fortunately we were all about the same age and all into drinking so things worked out perfectly. We stayed at a hostel with no running water or electricity so it was like camping..... except we shared a HUGE bunkhouse that didn't smell to great after 2 days of hiking! yech! I can't wait to do a bunch more hiking and backpacking next weekend. I love nothing more than being away from society and in tthe wilderness in the middle of nowhere.... like that novel/movie "into the Wild" but I don't think I'm that hardcore. about 4 days of no showering is my maximum! haha
