Went to the doctor today

He said I have an infection in my uterus which would be why I'm in so much pain. So he gave me some antibiotics and some pretty strong pain killers.

I go back next Tuesday, and schedule a hysterectomy. It makes me sad that it has to come to this, but in the same sense, this is the last box of tampons I'm going to ever have to buy. lol I suppose Tampax is gonna have to find a new wallet to suck!

So, I'm 21, and 22 on March 14th, and right in about 7 to 13 days, I will be getting a hysterectomy. It kind of weirds me out.

All I can say is I hope you're feeling better (or at least comfortable), and that you come out of the hospital safe and sound and have a speedy recovery.

Someone close to me has been dealing with some similar things with unusual bleeding for like 4 months. I took her to see a new OB/GYN about it on Thursday and she has a hysteroscopy scheduled for next week. Not clear yet if she'll need the hysterectomy. So, my message is that you are not alone. I'm sure that doesn't make it any better, but hopefully it makes you feel less alone.
