-I got super frustrated with one of my kids at work today and kind of yelled at him. Not in a scary abusive way, but just letting him see my frustration. It was effective. I think sometimes my kids just think I'm giving them work to make them be busy, when in fact I give considerable thought to each of their assignments. They keep complaining that the former teacher was "one of them" and that I separate myself out. It's adorable, how they think I want to be their friend when I'm being PAID to TEACH them. If I was a little bit older I could afford to be less of a dick, but as it it, I'm only 3 years older than some of my students, and a dick I shall remain.
-What else do I have to write about......HAIRCUT HAIRCUT! I can't wait for it to look decent again.
