Here is the story behind my set... its kinda funny...
so i had a great location all set up with a beautiful AMERICAN MADE truck lined up engine out clean nice shop.. really just the perfect location for what i had in mind... well last min and i mean last min we were on our way to the shoot... it got canceled so determined as i was and hell bent on not getting discurraged about loseing my vision.. we were driving down the road and i saw this dirty <covered in grease> older man workin in a lil shop with a bunch of broken down trucks... i asked my photogragpher to pull over so i could talk to him... now my photographer said that it looked like a very bad idea and i should go and talk to this guy because eh it didnt look safe... ha ha ha try me ... so anyway i jump out and walk up to this gentleman and ask him if he would be okay with me taking a few pix with his trucks. he was a lil standoffish but it was okay... i explained what it was for and what the situation was and do to the kindness in his heart he said "hell YA" as long as i took a picture on his golfcart he was trying to sell by putting on craiglist... i laughed and agreed to the terms... so i get set up and changed and i look at him and bluntly ask "so your okay with me being naked right?" his jaw hit the floor... so after the shoot and he was wonderful help and droolin most of the time.. he asked if he could have the shirt i wore in the shoot and sign a bottle of jack for him <oh i left that out i bought him a bottle of jack and had a few drinks with him while doing the shoot> OF COURSE I DID and i signed the shirt as well... he wished me luck and i thanked him for his time.. he said that i made that the best day of his life.... oh and as for the golf cart he made a lil extra money than he expected .... lol
i felt so good by making him so happy he kept sayin "i cannot really believe this is happening right now"
i guess he was really havin a bad bad day and by the end of the night he was all smiles... even if i dont go far in this i know i will always have a fan for life... LOVE U DANNY THANX FOR EVERYTHING
