Good afternoon, or something along those lines...
I love being greeted in the morning to frantic people going, "clean the basement, we're having a dinner party upstairs#)%*#%" Mmmhmm. Great way to start the day. Especially since my half of the house has nothing to do with this stupid dinner party thing. Whatever. Now my hands are all dried up from glove powder. Thats one thing I don't miss about piercing... the dreaded glove powder. Guh.
My nephew is doing the school talent show today (I think he's in grade 6 or 7?), and I have to miss it.
His band is performing Sweet Child of Mine. He is a phenominal little drummer. I wish I could be there to take some pics all rockstar-like and wear my "I'm With the Band" t-shirt.
I really need to go somewhere to get my mind off some things. xo
