This weekend was a lot of fun. I was in a ball tournament and although we didn't win enough games to make it to the finals, by that time we didn't really care... the heat was sweltering and muggy. Luckily someone had a firehose. Badass. We camped overnight on the Saturday at the campground beside the diamond, and lucky me being the rookie player, was forcefed shots I probably wouldn't have otherwise drank. Then woke up at 7:30am on the Sunday to play another qualifier. Wow. I'm never ever doing that again. However, our team did win most sportsmanlike and got free beer. Hooray!

Speaking of beer, I was drinking that new Molson Kick stuff... the beer with caffeine or whatever? It tasted fine... but it's definitely a middle-of-the-day kind of beer. Not getting hammered till you fall asleep kind of beer. I went to bed at 2am and stared at the wall for about two more hours before I could actually fall asleep. And then get up three hours later to play ball in 35 degree dry heat in the semi-desert.

My little brother turned 21 today. I feel old, yay.

Thursday (if I'm not working) - taking the tubes out behind my uncle's boat on the river. And maybe the SeaDoo if we're lucky. I love summer.
