So we played poker tonight. This is only my second time playing for real, video/electronic poker does not count. The first time we played a couple of weeks ago, I was out of the game in about 10 minutes because I didn't understand the betting structures. But this time I played a little video poker to get a little more familiar with the game. With a combination of that, and some lucky hands, I won the entire table... it was pretty sweet. It felt good. And thats how it hooks you.

Sigh. Just like those mermaid slot machines that always take my money.

Some people just weren't meant to gamble. Like me, because I love it too much.
