I totally fucking lost the mount for my tripod. How stupid. Last place I saw it was on my camera when I was leaving for the island, and I remember putting it in a place that I told myself I would definitely look for it when I got back. Well, I've been back for a good two weeks. I just spent a couple of hours looking in every nook and cranny of my bedroom trying to find it, and I think Ive officially given up. I guess this will be a good reason for me to invest in a sturdier tripod anyways. Very frustrating.

It's bonfire season down at the beach. I'm so lucky to have my house on the edge of the water. Down in the forest that backs onto the water is my favourite part. And then jumping down the embankment to the beach, it's perfect. Maybe we'll have one again tonight.

I came to the conclusion yesterday that I need to befriend more girls in my real life. Online doesn't count. I have little to no social skills when it comes to dealing with girls, I feel awkward and silly around them. I can count the number of girls I am friends with on one hand. And it's not a full hand, either.

Merritt Mountain Music Festival tickets will be purchased soon. We need to reserve our RV. Heh heh heh. xo
