I got more fish yesterday. I need to stop buying because the money is running lowlowlow. I'm a shopoholic, I will admit.
I've been buying my tetras in schools of three, although this time I only grabbed two black phantoms... I'm not sure why I missed one.
Also, the boy insisted that we buy a Betta. I didn't want a betta in my tank, but he screamed out to us, I swear. We brought him home, and he was so stiff from the little cup he was living in. It took him a few hours to loosen up a little bit. Now, originally, I hadn't planned on naming my fish. But he's got a personality of his own and has earned his nickname. El Diablo. Basically he just spends his time being a bastard and chasing the neons into corners. It's so cute.
I tried to get a photo, but the only way he'd show up was with a flash... so the water looks a little murky. El Diablo, and the tank...

When I turn the light on in the tank she freaks out. It's so funny watching her (I know it's a him but we pretend he's a MTF) swim up and down attacking her reflection!
