I'm listening to Gowan again. What's wrong with me? Halloween is slowly creeping up. That must be it. I'm getting weird.

Went and spent a bunch of money I don't have on Halloween crap today. 50% off sales can bite my ass. I bought the sexiest french maid outfit I'd ever seen, not that I was going to change my costume again, for $20 because it was on sale. It doesn't even fit. I'm such a dummy. But I think I might tear out the zipper in the back and make it lace up instead. There I go again, talking like I can actually sew... ha!

Julia, Kari and myself carved pumpkins last night... got 12 of them and have four left to carve. Jack and Sally turned out freaking awesome. Also in the mix was Oogie Boogie, a Jolly Roger skull face, a pentagram, Edward Scissorhands, Trogdor, and a big smiley face that Kari 'etched' (it looks so cool!). Pictures soon, I hope. When we were getting the pumpkins at the store, Kari had the cart full of fairly heavy pumpkins, and upon pulling into the checkout, the cart took over as if it had a mind of it's own and crashed into a jerky display. I wish I had a camera. It was like slapstick.

I bought some of this colour mousse stuff that's supposed to be semi-permanent. They had this awesome red colour (which I have in right now) called Red Pulse, and a blue-black colour. Semi-permanent blueblack is exactly what I need to even out my roots that are growing in at a surprising rate. I look like a trailer park momma with all this brown growing under the black. We'll see how it turns out, I guess. It's called 'Pulse' or something. Anyone tried it? It comes in a little orange cellophane wrapper thing...

I can't wait for the weekend. I love any excuse to wear big fake eyelashes and glitter and look like a drag queen. If it were socially acceptable, I'd probably do it everyday.
