I'm currently in Vancouver (a couple of blocks off of Commercial, to be precise) for Pride. Last night was the Davie Street Party, which was ok... nothing spectacular. Though I may have just been tired and grumpy from the drive. No 'professional' cameras allowed, so I wasn't allowed to take any photos inside. Everyone decided that they were going to go to The Odyssey, and as a tired grumpypants, I decided to go home instead.

My friend and I met up with another mutual acquaintance on the way home, and they decided it would be a great idea to check out The Cecil, which is one of Vancouvers' original stripclubs. Tonight, they are closing their doors forever. Sad, sad day. I met quite a few lovely girls there.

Anyway, Pride weekend calls... off to the fireworks tonight, and the big parade day tomorrow! Happy Pride, Vancouver!
