Hello ya'll! I'm back & alive! It's been a while! I'm okay and my place is still standing! I just lost the roof of my shed; oh and stuff in my freezer. I'm just so grateful that Hurricane Katrina turned to the east when she did! I came back Thurday to clean my fridge. Then I had to work Sat & Sun. ADM supplied employees with generators & some snack food. I got electricity back Monday evening; got cable/internet back today! I took some pics, but nothing compares to the pics of Nawlins & the gulf coast! I had to drive to Baton Rouge for gas & food. Things are slowly getting back to normal in my parish. Have any of ya'll eaten MRE's?? I've eaten some in the past few days, not too bad. It's gonna take some time to catch up with your journal entries! I just can't believe how fucked up the Big Easy is. I can't imagine what a direct hit would've been like. Needless to say, I'm thinking about moving a little north. Or if any of ya'll need a roommate??? haha! Take care Beauties! ya'll!
