Hello Everyone! What's up? Worked all weekend, but we had some crazy events happen on Sunday. 1) Some crewman jumped off the ship. So naturally we had the Coast Guard and local police swarming the area. They did catch him. Romour has it his green card will be taken away, but even worst, he won't be allowed to work in his country. Damn, that's fucked up! 2) Someone called the fire dept, reporting there was a fire on the 1st 2 floors. I just happened to look outside and saw the flashing lights. I tell my supervisor, "Damn, looks like the fire dept is here." He says, "You deal with it, I'm trying to finish loading the ship!" There was no fire, just a prank call. But it sure stirred up some excitment! haha! I did get to shoot pool with the team last night. We played at the Daquri Stop. The daquris were $5 for a large; I got 2! Eventually I'll snap out of my rout. Won 3/5 games. The team lost 4-2. What are your plans for the holidays? Are any of you visiting New Orleans for Mardi Gras last week of February? Yes, there will be a Mardi Gras on scheduled! The partying side of the city has already been up and running. I think there are still job opportunties in the French Quarter. I through some vac days up; I don't know if I'll get 'em since I had Mardi Gras off this yr. Im going to the Saints game next Sunday. It's the last game in LSU Tiger Stadium. Of course, Im just going for the tailgating! I will be cheering Carolina on to help the Saints get a better draft choice. Also would help if fuckin Houston & Frisco win! Oh I got a new cd in the mail that I ordered a few weeks ago. Merry-Go-Drown opened for Def Leppard this past July in Nawlins! They were great! I'll leave a link below to their myspace page.
