So as you may know I have a 4 year old named Michael with autism that is my reason for so much in this world and many of my smiles.

Any way with him you have to really have a routine on things. I guess you really need that with all kids, but for sure with him. Every night when I put him to bed we do the same things. One of those things is I have to make up a story for him which we both love.

It is always about a flying castle that zooms around and can go to outer space and such. Michael lives there with the Flying Dragon (how else can you get up and down from the castle), Mr. Cricket, Ms. Mouse and Flippity Flop the bunny. Flippity Flop is called this because of his long ears that trip him up all the time. Micheal helps create every adventure and character we meet.

During our adventures, Michael and his motley crew have saved the planet of the Toast People, learned how to share and explored the wonders of the magic pumpkin. smile

Tonight they came across a space adventurer called Chocolate Peanut who zooms in his rocket helping keep the world safe like Michael does every day. Chocolate Peanut stopped the evil Gummy Bear zombies (his idea) tribe of going around gumming off peoples boo boo lips. (Wait that sounded morbid, but really its not. When Michael gets up set about something and gets a boo boo lip we always act like we are going to get it and chase him going, "munch, munch, munch, I'm going to that boo boo lip all spooky and such," to make him laugh.) Any way Chocolate Peanut stops the Gummy Bear Zombies from terrorizing boo boo lips every were. smile

Maybe I should stop not before you question my sanity even more. smile

Just be warned if you ever get down that Gummy Bear Zombies might be on there way to turn that frown upside down. smile That should cheer anyone up. smile

I'll go now. smile

Goodness me you are so CREATIVE!!! I am fascinated with Autistic children... I think they are so amazing.. so beautiful.. my Auntie used to work with autistic kids and she pointed out that oddly enough, they are generally really outwardly gorgeous looking kids.. she called them the "angel children".
The way their minds work intruiges me.. they are so intelligent.. but the way they think must make them feel so isolated.. anyway.. enough of my babblings.. what a lovely blog i really thought it was so cool and heartwarming smile
