went home to raleigh this weekend
its always a trip when I go back
b/c somethin always happens
first off--went to see Squeezetoy
they are awesome and it was one of the best shows Ive seen them do
granted a friend of a friend I was with got WASTED and almost got picked up by a big black guy
haha so I only got to stay for about half the set ...if that

The really crazy stuff happened sat
I found out that someone close to me is gay
totally fine obviously I love him with all my heart
but I was just sooo shocked I never had a clue
he's not flamin in any way
so after bein a few other places around raleigh sat night
I ended up at legends.... a gay club in downtown raleigh
Ive never ever experienced anythin like that
but I must say i had fun and Ive never gotten so many
compliments in one night haha
....gay guys love me
and most of them were gorgeous
but I think the phrase
'water water everywhere and not a drop to drink'
applies very nicely to my night haha

sunday i went to the cemetary
it's been 5 years since my friend died and I still got all choked up drivin there...past the funeral home and the road we carried her down
it's so surreal how I hardly think about it anymore
but goin back it felt like it all happend yesterday
I took her purple daisys and sat and thought about all the wonderful things she would have done
I can really attribute her death to the lessons ive learned and carried with me
it was that event and what i learned which really shaped who I am
but Id honestly give it all back just to know
she was still here in this world smiling
so needless to say
it was a crazy emotional weekend
and now Im back in wilmington..... alone
....as a side note
I need a new roommate
Id give my left foot to move out in to a house w/anyone else
I can see my senior year of college suckin already
since her bf will be in my apt every weekend now
anybody in wilmo lookin for a roomie?
Im a lil messy but I keep the kitchen clean and I <3 cookin ha
