I'm baaaaaaack....

So, let's see here... I'm still working at the Austin Children's Shelter, even though Child Protective Services is now investigating the incident I reported to them and my management's dishonest response to it (which I also reported), so who knows how long I'll last before people in the upper echelons start to piece together who blew the whistle on their bullshit. I'm also progressing on this new novel I've been working on -- I'm on page 95 at the moment -- while still managing to maintain focus on it (yay me!) Also, I'm still single after a series of dating misadventures (but nothing that's reached the level of disastrous -- progress!)

I know I've been pretty absent from the whole SG community in recent weeks, but I'm going to try and change that. Starting tomorrow, though, because I had a long work shift tonight and then came home and spent another two hours writing, so I need to rest my weary eyes and mind
