So I nearly got emotionally burnt out working at the homeless shelters and decided to get out before it really got bad. As a result, I've had to move to Philadelphia, to temporarily stay with my parents. Not exactly my goal at age 29, but it was either that or stay in Baltimore with my cumbersome rent and job that took so much from me and gave very little back (especially not money -- after my rent and parking bills, I was constantly left with about $200 per month to cover food, cable/internet, gas, and whatever else it takes to live these days; not fun).
