So my girlfriend of four years wants to have a "trial separation," or so she told me at 2:30 in the morning when she got home. I was utterly blindsided. My life is falling apart, and on this night, this one night when I don't need to drink alone, I can't get one friend to come out and be with me. Even my ferret just wants to bite me. I really want to fucking die right now.

Interleague play has something to do with the Sox success. Still, this is the kind of pitching that I thought they had from the beginning. You knew there was something wrong when their most reliable pitcher was Freddy Garcia.
Sorry about the Cubs. I don't think it can get any uglier than last night. I know how you must feel. Just two weeks ago, I thought the Sox season was over and was grateful that the Blackhawks made it a little easier to cope. Now, it looks like the Sox are here to stay.
Who knows? The Bulls may get Lebron, which would probably start another dynasty.
