A couple old friends of mine found out they're expecting recently, so I strayed from my usual antisocial ways to go out to karaoke last night.

I tried to channel Florence Ballard as a backup singer on "Stop in the Name of Love" poorly but won some laughs with over exaggerated mannerisms as part of a quartet serenading the expectant mother with "You've Lost That Loving Feeling."

Not a bad night all in all, but I wouldn't want to be in a karaoke environment more than once or twice a year.
